Frequently Asked Questions
What is your filming style?
I would call myself a candid videographer, with an emphasis on real, undisturbed moments. I aim to capture you being yourselves, as authentically as possible. Of course, I will direct you into the best light, or ask for subtle changes, but I am very aware of not taking from your experience of the day. I want you to be present with your guests and each other - and most of all, have a good time.
Do you offer drone footage?
Yes, I always carry my drone with me at weddings, regardless of the package you have chosen.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 25% deposit will be required to lock in your booking.
Do you have back-up equipment?
Redundancy is a must-have on a wedding day. I over prepare in almost every aspect, to minimise any risk of missing the the moment.
How do you handle audio recording during the Ceremony & Speeches?
I love clean, professional sound. I use industry-grade lapel microphones for ceremonies, along with capturing audio from the celebrants mixer. I also work with your DJ to get a clean feed of the speeches, however I have backup sources of audio in all areas of the day.
How long will it take to receive our wedding video?
I usually have your wedding film finished in 6-12 weeks, but you’ll get your teaser film within 1 week.
What if we lose our wedding video?
Don’t stress - I’ve got you covered ;) As well as keeping local backups of your files, I upload all my wedding films to the cloud where they will be accessible ongoing into the future. I still advise you to have multiple backups as well, just to cover all bases.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I’m available for travel to capture weddings anywhere you may be. Additional travel fees may apply for weddings beyond South West WA.
